BOLLYWOOD BLUE
rocked, rocks and will rock on forever : D
yay! sports day '06 was fun fun funnn! think the atmosphere is better when you're in the contingent rather than backups cos you know what's going on more. sports day rocks : D loved everything about it!
okay first yesterday we went to little india in the morning before going to school (how apt is that? bollywood blue and little india!) and met wanchu vanessa and huiyin there too! saw a lot of cool stuff and the shopkeepers were really nice. must be cos of my face. haha, okay oops. we saw this nice necklace/ankle/bracelet/anything, basically its a long beaded chain and there at magnets at parts of the chain, so you can twist it and make it into whatever you like. looked lovely , though i didnt have enough cash ytd so will buy it next time. HURR. then we walked and visited a lot of places and later on ended up at this food court and talked and ate, then went to school!
was early when we reached , like only around 2 plus and we went to class to dump our bags and wait until like 2.45 before heading down to specs stand. was starting to feel some kind of anticipation alr. BLUE was in third position at first, 11 points from red and 7 points from yellow (the second!) . we had nice props! hurr. the black dot for the forehead and the blue sash and the blue tinsel in the hair which was supposed to look like garlands of flowers. perimeters had real flowers! : D
then we sang and danced and everything in the contingent, super high and enthu! whee! afterward did the house cheer and can see mrs cheong and miss choo like smiling at us and everything. once we were done we dashed to specs stand, hurr! like stampede like that, scary and i scraped my knee. haha. but luckily my poor specs werent like, spoiled or else i can't see anything for sports day (:
the ijjb people did their cheerleading! they were really really bao2 shou3 la, like they wore stockings with their skirts and had white tshirts and everything. and one girl who had to do cartwheels wore shorts over her stockings and over it she still has her skirt. haha. they were kinda cute la : D saw the cheer routines! yay. think all the houses cheer were cool! saw janice han with red house and she looked so cute. ahahahaa.
after that were all the events! cheered and cheered and screamed like crazy! was very high alr can : D everyone was literally going deaf from all the noise and at some parts we couldnt really hear properly! kaili ran in the relay, they got third : D ahh their medal is so cool. hurr! in the midlde it rained quite heavily and in the end had to cancel family race and teachers race. how sad :/ but the atmosphere was very nice and relaxed. like everyone was doing the kind of stuff you do to entertain yourself when you're in a big group , like bombing each other and cheering and doing kallang wave back and forth quite a few times (: they played the lovely ij songs. aw. very nice!
then more events and everything after that (: still cheering and going very very HIGH. blue house had already become second but we were only like 30 points from first at that point : D then they did prize presentation for the events and we were all very nervous cos they havent announced the best for fam dance, cheer, etc. THEN finally the results can!
was crazy from jumping and screaming each time they announced that we got first for something! before that stephp huimin and me were all like grabbing each other and once we have the results we went HYPERRR! : DD marilyn was crazy too and she jumped so much in the end she sort of fell back on the bench! HAH.
WE GOT,
first for family dance! (the first time i actually tried to do the jumping thing!)
first for house cheer!
first for old girl support!
first for overall house cheer! (hurr we even cheered for the other houses)
and second for cheer routine which was good : D
yay blue contingent rocks mann!
in the end we got second for primary, secondary and overall but the difference was only 24 points so yaye, we did good! the combined cheer was great : D and at the end the sky was beautiful, then when mrs goh pointed it out we were all cheering for some reason. hurr!
at the end we had the flag-lowering ceromony and the FIRST time everyone sang national anthem so loud! hah! was very nice and stnicks looked very beautiful like that. WAS SUPER HIGH SUPER HIGH SUPER HIGH in the end. YAY.
went back with jesmine and chunyan! me and jesmine walked around northpoint eating gummy candy. yummm. its our mums' brithdays today! : D
im in a very very good mood! (: its a nice saturday morning and we have a lovely long weekend (:
