deng1 mi2 thingy today at jurong junior college. what can i say?
anyway, no wonder no one likes chinese anymore. even with campaigns like huayu cool and everything, it aint gonna work when the situation is like this in singapore
like today, for the deng1 mi2 competition training , i swear that like almost 80 percent of all the people there are from china? not being discriminating here, but its really very irritating the way some people act. like talking and laughing so loud over one pathetic answer to a deng1 mi2 which isnt really very funny. and they kept on saying the answers again and again , like we haven't already heard them the first time?
all the schools always send all their chinese pros to this kinda competition, and as it turns out, they will all be scholars from china or something.
during xiaopin that time, we also saw like close to 60 or 70 percent of teams with people from china? and the situation is really very bad, this is in singapore, and there are so many singaporeans, and yet we see more than half of them who are not local? same for the zuowen competition thigny that chunyan went for that time, and the impromptu speech thing kat and some others went for.
with such people participating, its no wonder that people perceive them as cheena and disgusting and boring and nerdy and everything. if the govt really wants people to embrace chinese, they still have a long way to go.
anyway, the thing was a bit boring la. feels like a chinese lit lesson. luckily i didnt feel sleepy (: then during the break kat was kinda prohibiting me from eating the fried food but it was the only food that they had mah :/ and qihang is still a month away! we only started abstaining form fried/spicy food like a week before xiaopin? haha, but anyway, when i went home i drank honey water okay! hurr. took 169 home , i like the scenery.
and now there arent any important/urgent stuff for me to do, and i have been slacking ever since i reached home. was reading and sleeping and stuff. stuff that i havent been doing for a long long time : D
brother's coming back tonight. going to pick him up at 12 or 1 plus at the airport. how fun : DDD
