VERY COOL STUFF HAPPENED TODAY.
wanjane, kaili, mingee, joanne will all be jealous HAHA xD
but i shouldn't blog about it right away. keep everyone in suspense -evil grin- let's talk about camp! whee!
last two days have been not bad. huahui camp went well (: met up at macs avec karen kally vivian, had breakfast then the rest joined us and we reached forum. went up to dance studio, went into our groups and we all had to come up with group name, camp objective, group flag and decorate scoresheet hurr. group three: checkmate/jiang jun abit sound like chess society haha. our group flag was safely guarded by alicia throughout the camp (: folded up in her pocket hurr, people barely saw it -.- loads of flag-stealing going on though and if you steal flags you get points. we did treasure hunt, then had wenhua lesson where we found out many people don't know how to use chopsticks properly (i use the proper method!) and made a story using origami pigs/flowers/balls and more.
bathed, ate dinner and it was yeyou time alr. haha, yeyou! highlight of camp! we went new ava room first supposedly to watch a horror movie (the eye 10) and even though people said it was kinda funny we were all freaking out before they even showed it. we only got through a few seconds. i was planning to censor myself (close eyes stick fingers in ears) and after that there was some arguing about the bolume, the lights, whether we should even watch it or not, whether we should even go night trail at all and in the end we watched wei xiao pasta -.- rather funny but really couldnt stand cyndi wang's acting. hurr.
then after about one episode we met our guides (greys and blues and some others came back!) and went into pitchblack drama studio. heard alot of ghost stories, abit freaky but didnt scare myself too much unlike the (half)two justice ghost story telling session! (: we were the second group to leave. rather scared at first but the stations at the front part were all rather okay. except for the part when we were outside the library, i was in the back row watching and this person came up and tapped me on my shoulder. i didnt dare to look back completely ): thought it was a huahui person romaing about but in the end found out that its a stjohns person. and in the daoyous' guide saw some stuff about stjohns people's plot to scare huahui people at that station too! (it was after the trail on the next day dont worry). at the sec one level bench was solo walk station, and we were all told to walk up straight and go down. super confused and in the end we all ended up waiting for each other at the top of the stairs (actually supposed to walk up to 2nd level, walk straight, then walk UP stairs to chess area). but in the end our whole group heard some voices and decided to go over to the mep room station cos maybe we were supposed to be there. then the red badges found out about us being together and we were all brought up to be solo-ed again. haha. how dumb.
solo walk was surprisingly not as bad as i imagined although i wanted to walk in twos avec peilin at first. (we didnt get to use torches at all!) haha. must be because of the destroyed atmosphere. what with the st johns people screaming and shouting (like HAPPILY) and the lights and everything i wasnt even that scared. reached the end after a few stations (: and i thought it was the end, but there was still the mep room station (though we saw it alr) and then the mpr 2 toilet (near the home econs room). okay that was the freakiest station because i was so scared to go into the cubicles. they wanted some people to go into the closed cubicles and abit they closed the door after themselves and waited like 30 seconds in the cubicle before they let themselves out. jiexin found this sign with the word 'die' on the toilet seat (we all saw when she came out) and peilin found a doll hanging behind the cubicle wall. ahh freaky. but luckily i wasnt called at all throughout the trail and we ended it well!
group 2 full of super brave people (: then we were supposed to sleep and we all ended up talking and sleeping only at 2am or so, then i woke up for sometime at 5am and only really got up around 6 plus reaching 7? didnt really do alot in the morning, played captains ball, made breakfast for teachers, and played thinking game in drama studio which was funny. haha. broke camp afterwards, and we all went home, where i ended up falling asleep for 16 hours straight (: it felt rather good actually. and at least i ate/bathed before sleeping. woke up damn early today morning! 6.45am all by myself (:
today! the VERY COOL STUFF HAPPENED! hint hint it has a lot to do with what happened last friday nov 17th! (jane/kaili we're getting there ;D )
after meeting for lunch we met the rest of huahui people at amk station. then trained to tanah merah, met the other drama camp people (ahh feels so good) and xulaoshi and we took bus to ite together. it was damn big alright and REALLY REALLY NICE. the auditorium = so nice! we watched a dance thats most likely going to be performed at the conference, then had a quick run through and then a blocking run and that was about it. the backstage was so big! its big everywhere! and there were so many seats too, 1 more floor than ulu pandan cc.
the rehearsal went so fast okay. but it was fun! we bused back on 2A bus (luckily they went to ask and we ended up there or else the VERY COOL INCIDENT wouldnt have happened). so we alighted the bus at tanah merah mrt,

and i saw THE STREET MAGICIANS!!!!!!!!
like seriously!
EXACT SAME STREET MAGICIANS FROM NOVEMBER 17TH AT PLAZA SINGAPURA.
actually it was only one of them from nov 17th. but its the exact same hurrhurr.
so this was the actual order of events, we got off the bus and vivan immediately spotted street magicians, because ive told them about the street magicians and because she's always wanted to see some too. they were showing this group of people card tricks, but at first glance i saw they weren't the same people from plaza sing so i was like, aiya its not the ones i saw, let's just go. so we left, but some of us were still trailing people casting glances at the magicians.
then i turned around and saw the guy at plaza sing! the sweatshirt guy who talked to us at first and who did most of the tricks! i almost hyperventilated okay! so i went hyper, i was like screaming and jumping up and down and telling vivan + everyone else that he's the exact same guy that i saw that time! jacq and nick were alr on the escalator but they came back.
so he and this other guy who was bald and wearing sunglasses approached us (or we approached them, i can't really remember. i was just pointing and jumping and screaming) and when i saw him i was like "it's you again! remember?". then i asked him if he remembered the hyper crazy people at plaza sing last friday and he went like "ORH..." and i was asking him his name because we didnt get a chance last friday (its hansen. or something like that.) and i took pic of him with my phone (specially because of mingee cause she forgot his face alr. and because we didnt get to take pics last time too!). yay like finally! it was super lucky okay!
then the whole bunch of us (the drama camp people) gathered around them and they showed us more tricks! hurr a much more attentive audience this time round, not as hyper as last time haha. hansen asked vivian to pick out a card, sign her name and this time he turned the card (originally white) red. and did more tricks like changing two cards into blank cards this time round. his partner, the bald guy did some cool stuff too. turned my handphone off by holding it in his hand and back on again by pressing the keypad. hurr. we said thank you this time round! and i told the hansen guy that if we meet again it'll really be something. haha.
today was fun! street entertainers/magicians are still as cool as ever! this is called FATE haha still can manage to meet him even at such a ulu/weird location was in the right place and the right time. okay sign my gbook everyone! : D jane kaili honghwee peilin lathiga joanne etc etc anyone who comes by and anyone who wants to meet street magicians too! haha!
