Yes, so I've made a decision, and hopefully everything goes smoothly from there (: D-day just came and went like that, and I was thinking if I would come through from it happy or sad, thank goodness I was all smiles on 12th jan. I didn't cry or feel like crying at all, haha, I just kept on grinning like an idiot. The atmosphere before 1.30pm was totally scary actually, jacq, mingee, hh and I were like hanging around at random places for the whole day trying to find a place which was least scary. When we all knew who the top scorers were (AH SUEHERNNN :DD and the amazing 4 10A1s people!) everyone was like updating each other in the fam lounge and it was quite funny cos I suddenly found myself talking to people I hardly know. My grades were like on an extreme roller-coaster throughout these 2 years, fluctuating depending on how preoccupied/motivated I was at that time, and I'm really thankful to so many people who have helped me up along the way. Now that I've printed the confirmation slip I can relax and think about nothing except CNY and back-to-school stuff next week! :D
I was intending not to work this week but they really didn't have enough staff since everyone else has started school, so being an accommodating yes-person I reluctantly told zhongnan I would work a few days! Yesterday was extremely slack though, and the supervisor at edogawa was so nice, let us eat hokkaido ice cream + unagi sushi + rice roll + extremely nice fried rice! Haha amazingly I didn't find myself cash-strapped AT ALL this holiday. Free meals everytime ~~ Falalalala. I want to go eat japanese buffet at edogawa actually! Even though its a little expensive but its so worth it (better than sakae sushi i guess) cos you get unlimited sashimi/salmon etc etc all the really yummy and expensive jap food : D One last stupid day at SMC and I'm off to meet up properly with people~
Oh and plus I really like independent bookstore + cafes now! I want to visit more next week :D This holiday I didn't get to do so many things I planned but at the same time I did so many things I never expected myself to do, went places and met people I would hardly have encountered in daily routine life. I've been hanging out at the city area so much, the whole arts and heritage district stretching from bugis/city hall to chinatown, and I think discovering singapore is such a nice experience. Bras basah complex especially looks lousy but I really like it alot : D
