<3 Evanna Lynch is so cute as Luna Lovegood! She just makes herself so likable amidst all the weird character quirks and interesting clothes. Anyway Harry Potter wasn't mind-blowingly awesome, but I think they did a pretty good job of stringing all the crucial scenes together while pumping up the humour (like by quadruple times, the audience kept on laughing at all the dialogue), and keeping the mood. But like all harry potter movies there just isn't time so it just feels like a series of flashes and glimpses that keeps on moving on again. I liked the soundtrack though. And I wish they showed so much more of Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes (the twins only came out like, 5 minutes!) But anyway we're all harry potter geeks so we will all happily troop to the theatres to hang on to what little is left of pottermania :D Whee.
Anyway. Have REALLY been watching lots of shows lately, alternating between cinema and theatre hurr. Short + Sweet alone showcased 9 plays, plus SHHKACT, and today was the SYF showcase. The quality was a little uneven but every show had some very good points in different areas and I wished that we had had a chance to watch them when we were in secondary school so we would really have an idea of how to work with our existing (limited) resources and end all that pent-up frustration at thinking about all the roadblocks in our way. Hmm I think more exposure really does allow you to learn alot :D Random and frivolous but watching one particular show today made HH and I miss fawning over cute bungs so much! Haha okay :D
