Saw so many people when we went to Bugis for -ING yesterday! St nicks people and hwachong people and even light blue badges who were watching the show with us at Stamford Arts Centre. How embarrassing me and HH went to wave at them but they didn't recognise us though I know all of them, jieying deborah samquee and yinghan. Hurr why are we all so old now. When we knew them they were younger than us now. Anyway -ING was nice and the whole concept of poor theatre series was so cool, making up for what you can't produce in terms of set design and costume through awesome performance. Its hard to decipher a proper plot line because everything is so seamless yet detached but I thought that the themes pretty much stood out clearly, the whole notion of being set adift without an aim and direction like a white paper boat floating on a river, continuously caught in that set of being -ing, looking and searching but not really knowing what you want. Taken broader into the human context and you find that there are things like prejudice, loss of innocence and childhood, communication and cultures set apart, trying to fit in through imitation, et cetera that inevitably set us into this continuous state of -ing. The actress in Rashomon teared when they were singing at the end oh man. And they were all so close to us so we can really see every expression on their faces. Very nice (: After the show me hh met up with ahma and mingee! Haven't seen them for such a long time and it was the usual catching up again. Haha they were so nua about having to go to school. I'm glad that I can nua at home and do perpetually nothing today. Whee :D Pisang called me about where to find holiday work and everyone was looking for their prom stuff and it just reminded me of all the things we did at the end of sec four last year, at that point it felt like the end of everything and you can relax for a long time but now looking back you realise that such a holiday was only an intervention because there are still so many things to come in JC. Why does one year make such a difference -.-
