Haven't really been feeling the festive spirit until we really got around to doing preparations and stuff at home for dinner and all that. Even though its cliched to be such a sucker for celebrations its fun to be able to participate in all the typical traditions in a holiday for once since we hardly celebrate things like xmas or the normal new year. There's something comforting about sitting down to reunion dinner and knowing that everyone else is also doing the same thing as you, like you're reconnecting with your ancestral roots or something knowing that there are still traditions that are yet to be lost. Plus getting time off to meet up with relatives that you hardly see in a whole year. Visiting today was not bad haha somehow me and brother started talking more to cousins and other people our age when we used to dao each other alot :/
Not going to do any work these few days its really nice just to slack at home and eat lots of food. Throughout the whole of today we just kept on moving from house to house, getting angpow, eating food and watching tv non-stop. Heh :D
Oh and I just watched the video of ares during POP !
